Dr. Caronlina Medina

Dr. Carolina Medina received a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. After graduating veterinary school, Dr. Medina completed a 14-month clinical internship in Acupuncture at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. In 2005-2006, the Chi Institute and China's National Society of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine granted her certification in Veterinary Acupuncture, Herbology, Tui Na Massage Therapy and Food Therapy. She was one of the founders of the American Association of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine serving as secretary and treasurer, and has been an Associate Editor for the American Journal of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine since its inception in 2006. In 2010, she became certified in canine rehabilitation therapy through the Canine Rehabilitation Institute. She is a board of directors at large for the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management.
Currently, she works as a clinical assistant professor in the Integrative Medicine Service at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine.
